Description
Mosque carpet installation: qiblah alignment, row setting out and phased fitting.
Fitting a prayer hall is a setting-out job before it is a carpet job. The saff rows have to run true to the qiblah, not to the walls — and in most buildings those are not the same line. Get the first row wrong and the error is repeated and magnified across every row behind it.
We establish the qiblah on site, set the first row from it, and work outward. The second constraint is time: a prayer hall stays in use, so we phase the work around prayer times and hand back sections progressively rather than closing the hall.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you align prayer rows to the qiblah?
+
We establish the qiblah direction on site and set the first row from it, then work outward. Rows are aligned to that line rather than to the walls, because in most buildings the two differ and aligning to the wall puts every row slightly off.
Does the mosque have to close during installation?
+
No. We phase the work around prayer times and hand back sections as they are completed, so the hall stays usable throughout. Larger halls are scheduled over several days on that basis.
Do you remove the old carpet?
+
Yes, lifting and disposing of the existing carpet is included. We also check the sub-floor once it is exposed and flag anything that needs attention before the new carpet goes down.
