Description
Skirting and nala profiles that finish the floor-to-wall junction and cover expansion gaps.
These are the trims, not the floor. Skirting covers the junction where the flooring meets the wall; nala and transition profiles cover the gaps at doorways, level changes and the edges of a run.
They matter more than they look. Rigid flooring has to be laid with an expansion gap at every wall so it can move with temperature, and the trim is what hides that gap while still letting the floor move underneath. Sealing the floor tight to the wall instead is the usual cause of buckling later.
We colour match the profile to the flooring, or deliberately contrast it where the wall finish calls for that, and fit it as part of the flooring installation.

Why is an expansion gap needed at all?

Rigid flooring expands and contracts with temperature. The gap gives it room to move; the skirting hides the gap without pinning the floor down. Fixing the floor tight to the wall is what causes buckling later.
Can the profile match my flooring?
